The Gitzo GH1382QD Series 1 Center Ball Head is designed for use with Gitzo Mountaineer Series 0 and 1 and Traveler Series 2 tripods. Made of magnesium for light weight and coated with tungsten disulfide for lubrication without grease, the GH1382QD has separate controls for panning and ball movement. The 4.4" tall head weighs only 1.1 lbs, but can hold up to 31 lbs, making is sturdy enough for dSLRs with long lenses. The quick release plate is Arca compatible and uses a 2-pin safety system so your camera remains securely on the head.
