The Leupold SX-2 Alpine HD Gen 2 20-60x80 Angled Spotting Scope offers several upgrades over the original model. Most importantly, it is now waterproof and nitrogen purged. Leupold's Diamond-Coat external coatings are scratch-resistant and their Guard-ion coating sheds dirt, water, and smudging. The SX-2 Alpine Gen2 now sports an Arca-Swiss mount foot, so it doesn't require a mounting plate in tripods with Arca-Swiss heads.
