Zeiss SFL 12x50 Binoculars are up to 15% lighter than other 50mm binoculars due to their magnesium alloy chassis and thinner lens elements. The SFL 12x50 weighs 30.8 ounces. All 50mm SFLs have a 5.9' close focus. The SFL 12x50 has a 315' field of view at 1000 yards. Combining their 50mm objectives with 90% light transmission results in bright images, even in low light situations. 50mm objective lenses collects 42% more light than 42mm objectives.
As with all SF and SFL binoculars, the ergonomics are amazing. The SmartFocus Concept yields optimal hand placement for control of the large focus wheel, which travels the entire focus range in only 1.4 turns. Perfect positioning of the lenses and internal controls balance this binocular for fatigue-free viewing.
Zeiss offers a Limited Lifetime Transferable Warranty which protects you against defects in workmanship or materials for the life of the Product. If a defect that is covered by this Warranty is found, Carl Zeiss will, at its option and without charge, either repair your Product or replace it with a Carl Zeiss product of comparable specifications and value.
