The Steiner 8x30 Military LRF Rangefinder Binocular is a general purpose Porro prism binocular combining a mil-based rangefinder reticle with a laser rangefinder capable of measuring distances up to an astonishing 1860 yards away (range units can be set to either yards or meters). This configuration from Steiner's Military series also features a nitrogen-filled fogproof housing and Sports-Auto focus system that has individual focus eyepieces. When the appropriate focus has been set for the viewer's eyesight, all objects from 22 yd to infinity will remain in sharp focus. Additionally, the impact-resistant Makrolon composite body has textured rubber armoring that can help the observer maintain their grip when in wet conditions or while wearing gloves.
