The Vortex Diamondback HD 15x56 Binoculars are excellent high-power binoculars for shorebirding, hawk watching, or hunting. They include the Vortex HD optical system with fully multi-coated lenses and phase- and dielectric-coated BaK-4 prisms for improved contrast and better light transmission. Their magnesium chassis is rubber armored, waterproof, and filled with argon gas to make them fogproof. The external lens surfaces are coated with Vortex Armortek which repels water and dirt to keep them cleaner longer. Like all Diamondback binoculars, the 15x56 is tripod adaptable, but unlike the rest, the 15x56 includes the tripod adapter.
Vortex offers VIP warranty which stands for a Very Important Promise to you, our customer. Optics are meant to be used outside - often times in the harshest environments imaginable. Couple that fact with "life" happening, and there's a lot that can impact your prized optical instruments. One thing is certain - from cliff drops to camp destroying brown bears and house fires to hurricanes, Vortex will repair or replace your product in the event it becomes damaged or defectiveat no charge to you. If Vortex cannot repair your product, they will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. The VIP warranty does not cover loss, theft or deliberate damage to the product.
