Vortex Diamondback HD 20-60x85 Angled Spotting Scopes have been redesigned with improved optics and a sleeker body. The focus knob has been replaced with a helical focus ring to prevent snagging on other items in a day pack. New glass and coatings via the Vortex HD Optical System improve brightness and color fidelity and reduce chromatic aberration. The 85mm objective diameter delivers more light and better resolution than the previous 80mm version. The rubber armored body is waterproof and argon purged, and the external lens surfaces are coated with ArmorTek scratch-resistant and water repellent coating.
Vortex offers VIP warranty which stands for a Very Important Promise to you, our customer. Optics are meant to be used outside - often times in the harshest environments imaginable. Couple that fact with "life" happening, and there's a lot that can impact your prized optical instruments. One thing is certain - from cliff drops to camp destroying brown bears and house fires to hurricanes, Vortex will repair or replace your product in the event it becomes damaged or defectiveat no charge to you. If Vortex cannot repair your product, they will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. The VIP warranty does not cover loss, theft or deliberate damage to the product.
