With the Vortex Fury® HD 5000 AB 10x42 Rangefinding Binocular, the AB stands for Applied Ballistics. Both ballistic data and environmental factors such as wind, barometric pressure, humidity, and temperature are combined into a complete shooting solution for the hunter or target shooter. An internal compass lets you feed the wind direction into the onboard computer so that the accurate wind compensation can be integrated into the calculations. Built-in Bluetooth offers communication between the Fury HD 5000 AB and weather devices like those from Kestrel or Garmin.
Vortex offers VIP warranty which stands for a Very Important Promise to you, our customer. Optics are meant to be used outside - often times in the harshest environments imaginable. Couple that fact with "life" happening, and there's a lot that can impact your prized optical instruments. One thing is certain - from cliff drops to camp destroying brown bears and house fires to hurricanes, Vortex will repair or replace your product in the event it becomes damaged or defectiveat no charge to you. If Vortex cannot repair your product, they will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. The VIP warranty does not cover loss, theft or deliberate damage to the product.
