The Vortex Pro Car Window Mount is lightweight and compact (only 11.9 oz. and 3.5" tall), and has a feature not available on other window mounts in their basic configurations. What makes this window mount worth considering is that it uses an Arca Swiss mounting system. If you're digiscoping, this allows for a long QR plate to facilitate balancing your scope and camera system. If you're not digiscoping, but your spotting scope or long lens has an Arca Swiss foot, you won't need to use the QR plate and worry about it coming loose from the optic.
Vortex offers VIP warranty which stands for a Very Important Promise to you, our customer. Optics are meant to be used outside - often times in the harshest environments imaginable. Couple that fact with "life" happening, and there's a lot that can impact your prized optical instruments. One thing is certain - from cliff drops to camp destroying brown bears and house fires to hurricanes, Vortex will repair or replace your product in the event it becomes damaged or defectiveat no charge to you. If Vortex cannot repair your product, they will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. The VIP warranty does not cover loss, theft or deliberate damage to the product.
