Zeiss SFL 8x30 Binoculars

The Zeiss SFL 8x30 Binoculars take the "L" for Lightweight in their name even farther in that direction than the 40mm version. They weigh in at only 16.2 ounces while delivering 90% of the light that enters to the user's eyes. Ergonomically, they incorporate the SF (SmartFocus) concept introduced in the Victory SFs which includes placing the focus wheel in front of the bridge and a focus speed that takes only 1.4 turns (504°) to travel between 4.9' and ∞. They also have 18mm of eye relief, which is unusual for a mid-sized bino, and a 426' field of view at 1000 yards. Ultra-High-Definition optics provide high detail and true colors. Rubber armoring and LotuTec lens coatings help protect the SFL 8x30's glass and chassis from the elements.
