Kowa’s Genesis 44 binoculars have 4 XD glass lenses which, combined with the larger 44-mm objective lens size and internal convex lenses with special dispersion properties, greatly reduces chromatic aberration and yields a very bright image. The Genesis 44 is a phase-coated roof prism binocular, with BaK4 glass prisms and Kowa’s C3 prism coating permits near total reflectivity. Genesis 44 binoculars have other refinements such as magnesium alloy chassis and a locking diopter mechanism.
