Swarovski AT/ST Balance Spotting Scopes combine world-class SWAROVISION optical technology with the most advanced image stabilization system available, yielding an absolutely breathtaking view you would never have believed possible without a tripod. The stabilization is so excellent that it virtually eliminates the "floating" effect you would see in other image stabilized optics, making them seem like another class of optics altogether. It even improves the view with a tripod, further dampening vibrations that the tripod legs don't fully absorb. An incredible safety feature is their locking mechanism that senses knocks and falls, instantly freezing the moving lenses in the central position as if the power were shut off. 

The series is available in both angled and straight configurations, the AT Balance 18-45x65 and the ST Balance 14-35x50. The ST Balance offers the familiar feel of handheld binoculars and cameras while the AT Balance provides some with more viewing comfort and an advantage when looking upward into treetops and into the sky. The ST Balance has a wider FOV while AT Balance the upper hand on image brightness when set to the same magnification. Both have helical zoom and focus rings that operate smoothly with minimal effort. Removable batteries all 12 hours of continuous use, and spare batteries are available for purchase separately.

Digiscoping with the AT/ST Balance is possible by smartphone using the VPA 2 with the CA-S adapter as well as with third party adapters. The eyecup diameter is identical to that of the ATX/STX and ATC/STC Spotting Scopes, allowing the same phone adapter to seamlessly switch between eyepieces.
