Let's Explore
National parks contain many of our nation's most treasured landscapes, from the majestic mountain ranges of Alaska to the vast prairies of the
Everglades.
We encourage nature lovers to get outside and track, explore, discover, and preserve nature.
In addition to the individual benefits gained by being connected to nature, there is a collective benefit shared by everyone. People who love nature tend
to take on the stewardship of the environment. In doing so, it is essential that we train and educate ourselves in what needs to be done and how to pass it
on to future generations. This is a huge task. At a minimum, we must follow the maxim "Think globally. Act locally." So, get out and explore. Explore your
local area, your state, everywhere you can. Enjoy and learn.
You can help preserve these treasures for generations to come by getting out and exploring nature, appreciating the world around us and helping do whatever
you can to ensure it survives.
