Almost ten years ago I put a set on my 1996 Swarovski 10x42 roof prism binocs, a very good set of glasses. The immediate gain in focus, clarity, color rendition and comfort was amazing. The best benefit was from reduced eyestrain during long observation periods. Get a set for all of your optics! A two hundred dollar binoc will seem like a 500 pair....the 1500 dollar unit will seem like a Zeiss, Meopta, Leitz or Swarovski.
Assuming correct collumation and a decent lense coating. Can't ask for more than that. That original set of eyeshields is holding up just fine with daily usage, so it is a quality materials product in addition to being a quality design product.
I just ordered 3 pairs for my other optics and as gifts to friends.
