Kowa TSN-55 Prominar Spotting Scopes replace the TSN-550 series scopes. As before, they are one-piece scopes with a 55mm Pure Fluorite Crystal objective lens and a permanently mounted eyepiece. The big upgrade is that the eyepiece is the same TE-11 WZ II used on the TSN-66/88/99 scopes but marked for the TSN-55's 17x-40x zoom range, and increasing the field of view by 52%. It is available in both angled and straight configurations, weighing about 34 ounces.
