The Celestron TrailSeeker ED 10x50 Binocular is the light gathering star of the TrailSeeker ED series. Its 50mm objectives bring in 42% more light than the 42mm models. Their ED objectives reduce chromatic aberration resulting in crisper colors and better contrast. its lenses are fully broadband multi-coated to reduce internal reflections over the complete optical path. The roof prisms are phase- and dielectric-coated, also enhancing light transmission and improving contrast. Field of view is 341' at 1000 yds, which is excellent for a 10x50 binocular. Close focus is 9.8'. Interpupillary distance is 60 - 74mm, which may be too wide on the minimum for people with closely-set eyes.
Celestron warrants most of its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the products usable lifetime to the original owner. Each product will list the warranty for it on the Celestron website (Limited Lifetime Warranty and 2-Year Warranty)
This warranty does not cover products that have been subject to abuse, misuse, physically damaged, altered, or had unauthorized repairs or modifications. This warranty does not cover defects due to normal wear and tear and other conditions.
