Celestron TrailSeeker ED 8x42 Binoculars have a wealth of features rarely found at this price level. Among these are Extra-low Dispersion (ED) for reducing chromatic aberration, accurate colors, and improved resolution; fully multi-coated lenses for increased light transmission and better color response; and phase and dielectric coatings on BaK-4 prisms for improved light transmission. Close focus is 6.5', and field of view is a quite wide 426' at 1,000 yds. The TrailSeeker EDs are waterproof and nitrogen purged for use in adverse conditions. All this is packed into a 23.5oz package.
Celestron warrants most of its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the products usable lifetime to the original owner. Each product will list the warranty for it on the Celestron website (Limited Lifetime Warranty and 2-Year Warranty)
This warranty does not cover products that have been subject to abuse, misuse, physically damaged, altered, or had unauthorized repairs or modifications. This warranty does not cover defects due to normal wear and tear and other conditions.
