This material is extremely lightweight and rigid, weighing just 1.6 lbs while supporting 66.14 lbs! It is also highly shock-absorbent, delivering smooth rotation and tilt while minimizing the effect of external disturbances. The ball-joint on the rubber foot further increases this smoothness to capture excellent shots of moving targets. The Carbon Monopod Series 4 5 Section L can be easily adjusted between shooting heights via Gitzo's G-Lock Ultra system that provides secure locking and keeps moisture and dirt out of the tubing. The reversible 1/4" and 3/8" mounting thread gives you the freedom to choose from a wide variety of lenses, heads, and cameras.
