Gitzo Mountaineer Series 1 4-Section Tripods

The Gitzo Mountaineer Series 1 Carbon Fiber Tripods dampen vibrations better than previous models thanks to the use of larger diameter lower leg sections. The top spider has been redesigned to add rigidity. The center column on the tripod can be replaced with the Ground Level Set, for a minimum height of 5.9". An internal O-ring to prevent dust and particles from entering the leg system, and large leg angle selectors give you more area to grip when adjusting leg angles. A ballast hook on the center column allows you to add weight to increase the tripod's stability.
