The Kowa SV II 8x42 Binoculars retain the optics from the original SV series with their fully multi-coated lenses, phase-corrected prisms, water- and fogproofing, and comfortable ergonomics. The SV II series is mainly a cosmetic change to the green used in most other Kowa optics to make them consistent with the rest of their sports optics line. The 42mm SV II binoculars are designed for spectator viewing and for hunters. We don't expect that birders will consider the 13.1' close focus very useful.
All Kowa spotting scopes, binoculars, or other optical products sold through a United States or Canadian authorized Kowa dealer come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty*. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. Your Kowa spotting scope, binocular, or other optical product is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the product.
