The Night Vision Devices PVS-14 Monocular SFK with High Performance Tube is a kit that includes a Generation 3 Pinnacle image intensifier tube and the accessories usually required for special operations. The NVD-PVS-14-HP+ has a Pinnacle power supply and an HP+ image intensifier tube. The tube has a minimum signal to noise ratio of 25, a photocathode response of at least 2200, and a resolution of 64 lp/mm or better. The unit has a manual gain control which allows the user to adjust the screen brightness to suit the conditions. It runs up to 40 hours on a single AA battery. Total dark viewing is possible thanks to a built-in LED IR illuminator.
