The Nikon Monarch M5 12x50 Binoculars are the first 50mm Nikon Monarchs. We recommend the for those looking for a better low light performance than the 42mm M5s. They have the same ergonomic rubber armoring as the 42mm M5s for shock resistance and a more positive grip, better fitting lens covers, and a slightly wider field of view. Their weight, is only 22.6 oz. The M5 12x50 boasts 16.4mm of eye relief, which is excellent for this class of binocular. Close focus is 14.8' and field of view is 294' at 1000 yards. They are fogproof and water proof down to 3.3' for 10 minutes.
