The Pentax Papilio III 8.5x21 WR Binoculars in black have a few welcome upgrades over the Papilio II models. While the magnification x objective size, eye relief, and field of view, and the amazing 0.5m close focus remain the same, the generation III models are water resistant and have a new HD lens coating that delivers more light transmission by reducing reflections. The Papilio III eyepieces and front glass plate that protects the objective lenses now have an anti-stain coatings on the exterior surfaces that minimize dust and liquids from sticking.
Pentax Papilio III binoculars are available in 6.5x21 and 8.5x21 configurations and black or olive rubber armoring.
