The Pentax SD 10x42 Waterproof Binoculars offer fully multi-coated lenses with anti-reflection properties while maximizing light transmission through the entire optical path. The roof prisms are also phase-corrected to ensure a bright, high contrast image with faithful color rendition even in low light thanks to the larger 42 mm lens. The 10x magnification offers an impressive 315' field of view at 1000 yards while the housing is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed for fogproof performance and submersability in water up to 3.3'. The SD 10x42 binoculars also offer a generous eye relief of 18 mm and twist up eyecups to ensure comfort for those wearing eyeglasses. Additional protective coatings on the optic lenses repel water, dirt, and oils to keep a clean, unobstructed view.
Sports Optics Warranty
From the original date of purchase, RICOH IMAGING AMERICAS CORP. provides a 25-year limited US warranty for most PENTAX Binoculars purchased within the US from a Ricoh Imaging authorized dealer. This warranty covers the original owner and is not transferable. Routine external cleaning, normal cosmetic and mechanical wear and excessive wear due to professional use are not covered under the terms of this limited US lifetime binocular warranty.
Proof of Warranty Status
The dated proof of purchase receipt (bill of sale) must be provided to ensure warranty status. If a dated proof of purchase receipt is not received with the product, a repair estimate will be issued.
