The Pentax SP 12x50 Waterproof binoculars feature larger objective lenses which are designed for astronomical as well as terrestrial use in any climate. The 50mm lenses are fully multi-coated with anti-reflective properties that also gather more and improve light transmission along the optical path which works well in low light conditions. Nitrogen purged and O-ring sealed you get waterproof and fogproof performance. With the porro prism configuration you get a richer depth of view as well as more surface area for a comfortable grip. The higher 12x magnification allows an immersive observation experience whether for whale or comet watching. The larger objectives add weight which can cause fatigue or shakiness and so to aid long observation sessions the binocular can be mounted on a tripod using an optional adapter. All SP WP models are waterproof and nitrogen purged to eliminate internal fogging.

From the original date of purchase, RICOH IMAGING AMERICAS CORP. provides a 25-year limited US warranty for most PENTAX Binoculars purchased within the US from a Ricoh Imaging authorized dealer. This warranty covers the original owner and is not transferable. Routine external cleaning, normal cosmetic and mechanical wear and excessive wear due to professional use are not covered under the terms of this limited US lifetime binocular warranty.
Proof of Warranty Status
The dated proof of purchase receipt (bill of sale) must be provided to ensure warranty status. If a dated proof of purchase receipt is not received with the product, a repair estimate will be issued.
