The Pulsar Telos LRF XP50 Thermal Monoculars combine the regular Telos XP50 with a 1,000 yard rangefinder with a ±1 yard accuracy. The rangefinder displays distance in meters or yards, angle of elevation, and you can record video or stills at the same time (see image 6). The Telos XP50 thermal portion has a heat sensitivity of NETD<=18mK, a step improved over the competition, most of which is still at NETD<=25mK. They will also be upgradeable by the factory when better features become available. The list of potential upgrades has not been published yet. The base Telos XP50 will have a 640x480 microbolometer with a frame rate of 50Hz and a pixel pitch of 17µm. The display is a 1024x768 AMOLED screen. The 50mm objective lens is f/1.0 for maximum heat gathering. Base magnification is 2.5x augmented by a 4x digital zoom controlled by a continuous ring rather than in discrete steps. Detection range is 1900 yds. The Telos LRF XP50's body is rubber armored reinforced plastic that can withstand temperatures from -13°F to 104°F. The LPS 7i Li-Ion 6400mAh battery has a life of 8 hours and can also be powered by an external power supply (5V or 9V) and USB-C cable. It weighs 25.4 ounces.
