SkyWatcher Star Adventurer Tripod

The SkyWatcher Star Adventurer Tripod is an excellent base support for astronomical telescopes, especially if you're using an equatorial or tracking mount. Made of aluminum with 2-section legs, it can extend from 25.0" to 44.75", with a base footprint of 23.0" (when the legs are retracted) to 36.0" (extended). A 3/8"-16 screw on the top will accommodate most tripod heads and mounts. The Star Adventurer Tripod has a spreading brace that includes a removable accessory tray that can hold filters or additional eyepieces. The tripod weighs 4 lbs.
