The Vortex Crossfire HD 1400 Laser Rangefinder is an excellent budget rangefinder for either rifle or bow hunting. It will range to a maximum 1400 yards at reflective target (750 for deer) and its HD optical system will enable you to pick out your target from any background. The Crossfire HD 1400 has three target modes (Normal, First, and Last) and two ranging modes (HCD and LOS) with the results displayed with a red TOLED readout that is visible in any lighting condition. At a mere 4.8 oz., you'll hardly know you're carrying it.
