The Vortex Diamondback HD 10x42 Binoculars have upgraded lens coatings and upgraded prisms with dielectric coatings which increase brightness, sharpness, and color fidelity compared to previous models. Close focus is decreased from 6.7' to 5', field of view remains 330' at 1000 yds, and eye relief is 15mm. The HD 10x42 weighs only 21.3 oz thanks to a magnesium alloy chassis. The 42mm Diamondback HDs come with Vortex's GlassPak binocular harness and Vortex's VIP Warranty.
Vortex offers VIP warranty which stands for a Very Important Promise to you, our customer. Optics are meant to be used outside - often times in the harshest environments imaginable. Couple that fact with "life" happening, and there's a lot that can impact your prized optical instruments. One thing is certain - from cliff drops to camp destroying brown bears and house fires to hurricanes, Vortex will repair or replace your product in the event it becomes damaged or defectiveat no charge to you. If Vortex cannot repair your product, they will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. The VIP warranty does not cover loss, theft or deliberate damage to the product.
