Vortex Diamondback HD 16-48x65 Straight Spotting Scopes are the easiest to pack of all the Diamondback HD spotting scopes. Their straight body and lack of protruding focus knob facilitate packing and unpacking. Focus is accomplished by a helical collar focus mechanism. Optically, their 65mm objective lens and Vortex's HD Optical System deliver more light, more contrast, and truer color than previous models. Diamondback HD spotting scopes are waterproof and argon purged for internally fog-free viewing, and the external lens surfaces are coated with ArmorTek scratch-resistant and water repellent coating. All Diamondback HD scopes are protected by the Vortex VIP Warranty.
Vortex offers VIP warranty which stands for a Very Important Promise to you, our customer. Optics are meant to be used outside - often times in the harshest environments imaginable. Couple that fact with "life" happening, and there's a lot that can impact your prized optical instruments. One thing is certain - from cliff drops to camp destroying brown bears and house fires to hurricanes, Vortex will repair or replace your product in the event it becomes damaged or defectiveat no charge to you. If Vortex cannot repair your product, they will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. The VIP warranty does not cover loss, theft or deliberate damage to the product.
