The Vortex Diamondback HD 8x42 Binoculars feature improved prisms with dielectric coating and lens coatings which improve brightness, sharpness, and color fidelity compared to previous models. Close focus is 5', field of view is 393' at 1000 yds, and eye relief is 17mm. The HD 8x42 weighs only 21.8 oz thanks to a magnesium alloy chassis. The 42mm Diamondback HDs come with Vortex's GlassPak binocular harness.

One thing is certain - from cliff drops to camp destroying brown bears and house fires to hurricanes, Vortex will repair or replace your product in the event it becomes damaged or defectiveat no charge to you. If Vortex cannot repair your product, they will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. The VIP warranty does not cover loss, theft or deliberate damage to the product.
