The Vortex High Country II Tripod Kit is an aluminum leg tripod with a 2-way pan head. The legs have 3 sections with flip lever locks. The head is single lever control and has an ARCA-SWISS quick release socket and plate, which allows for sliding the spotting scope back and forth to achieve optimum balance. This kit has a minimum height of 11.3" with the main section of the center column removed, a maximum height of 62.5", and a closed length of 24.3'. It weighs 4 pounds and has a maximum load of 22 pounds. There is a hook at the bottom of the center column for attaching a weight in windy conditions.
