The Vortex Razor UHD 8x42 Binoculars are Vorrtex's top of the line, and they now include the improved GlassPak Pro harness/case. Their optics include index matched apochromatic objective lenses and phase-corrected Abbe Koening roof prisms for extreme brightness, sharpness, and contrast. Ergonomically, the 42mm Razor UHDs can close focus to 4.5' (1.37m) and have an eye relief of 16.7mm. Field of view for the 8x42 is 420' at 1000 yds. Of course, the Razor UHDs are waterproof and argon purged and come with the Vortex VIP lifetime, transferable, no-fault warranty.
Vortex offers VIP warranty which stands for a Very Important Promise to you, our customer. Optics are meant to be used outside - often times in the harshest environments imaginable. Couple that fact with "life" happening, and there's a lot that can impact your prized optical instruments. One thing is certain - from cliff drops to camp destroying brown bears and house fires to hurricanes, Vortex will repair or replace your product in the event it becomes damaged or defectiveat no charge to you. If Vortex cannot repair your product, they will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. The VIP warranty does not cover loss, theft or deliberate damage to the product.
