The Vortex Viper HD 10x50 Binoculars have been revamped with several important improvements that all nature observationalists can appreciate. For starters, the field of view has been widened from 278' at 1000 yards to 346', a huge difference that provides much larger picture. An 8' close focus feature brings you closer to nearby action than the previous 10x50 model which had an 8.2' close focus. An improved Premium HD lens system gives better brightness, contrast and sharpness than the previous Viper HD. Vortex kept their XR anti-reflective coating for excellent light transmission and their ArmorTek coating to protect the lens surfaces from scratches, oil and debris. A waterproof, argon purged housing with a durable construction keeps the binocular safe from the environment while maintaining a stylish look with Vortex's classic green finish.
Vortex offers VIP warranty which stands for a Very Important Promise to you, our customer. Optics are meant to be used outside - often times in the harshest environments imaginable. Couple that fact with "life" happening, and there's a lot that can impact your prized optical instruments. One thing is certain - from cliff drops to camp destroying brown bears and house fires to hurricanes, Vortex will repair or replace your product in the event it becomes damaged or defectiveat no charge to you. If Vortex cannot repair your product, they will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. The VIP warranty does not cover loss, theft or deliberate damage to the product.
