The Zeiss Conquest HDX 8x56 Binocular Binocular belongs to the next generation in the Conquest series. Improvements on the previous Conquest models include updated ergonomics and functionality. Functionally, Conquest HDX eyecups are now smoother and properly sized, a locking diopter has been added, and the rubber armoring is now resistant to sweat, insect repellent, sunscreen, and other chemicals. Conquest HDX models can accept a tripod adapter in the front of the hinge by unscrewing a raised knob from the tripod mount hole. Conquest HDX binoculars are waterproof to 4 meters (400 mbar), nitrogen filled, and have LotuTec hydrophobic coatings on external lens surfaces. Optically Zeiss Conquest HDX binoculars have maximized edge-to-edge resolution, 90% light transmission, and color fidelity while minimizing chromatic aberrations, stray light, and coma. Ergonomically, the magnesium alloy chassis helps reduce weight to 43.6 ounces, and the 1.3 revolutions between 11.5' close focus and infinity is maintained. Minimum interpupillary distance is 54mm to make them easier to use for users with close-set eyes.
Zeiss offers a Limited Lifetime Transferable Warranty which protects you against defects in workmanship or materials for the life of the Product. If a defect that is covered by this Warranty is found, Carl Zeiss will, at its option and without charge, either repair your Product or replace it with a Carl Zeiss product of comparable specifications and value.
