Pulsar Telos XG50 Thermal Monoculars present new features in thermal monoculars. With a heat sensitivity of NETD<=40mK, these are the second step up in the series due to a higher resolution (640x480 @12µm) sensor. They will also be upgradeable by the factory when better features become available. The list of potential upgrades has not been published yet. The base Telos XP50 will have a 640x480 microbolometer with a frame rate of 50Hz and a pixel pitch of 12µm. The display is a 1024x768 AMOLED screen. The 50mm objective lens is f/1.0 for maximum heat gathering. Base magnification is 3.5x augmented by a 4x digital zoom. Detection range is 2515 yds.
The Telos XP50's body is rubber armored reinforced plastic that can withstand temperatures from -13°F to 104°F. The LPS 7i Li-Ion 6400mAh battery has a life of 8.5 hours and can also be powered by an external power supply (5V or 9V) and USB-C cable. It weighs 25.3 ounces.
