The Vortex Crossfire® HD 20-60x80 Spotting Scope Angled has the largest objective diameter in this series. This means that, along with the straight version, it will have the brightest image and best resolution in this series. At 53 ounces, it is one of the lighter full-sized scopes. The 80mm Crossfires have a 105'-53' field of view at 1000 yards and long (18mm) eye relief. Its optics include Vortex HD Optical System glass that has anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces. The rubber armored body is nitrogen purged and O-ring sealed to be completely water- and fog proof. Crossfire spotters have multiple mounting options with a 1/4-20 screw mount hole in an Arca Swiss foot, so you can ignore a mount plate if you have an Arca Swiss compatible tripod head. Unlike the 50mm models, the 65mm and 80mm models have a rotating mount collar which allows moving the eyepiece to accommodate viewers of different heights or if you want to scope in a sitting or prone position.
