Nikon Monarch M5 8x42 Binoculars are the latest incarnation of the original Monarch 8x42 ATB. Major improvements include enhanced rubber armoring and better fitting lens covers. Field of view is now 335' at 1000 yards, a slight improvement over previous models. The M5 8x42 has a generous 19.5mm eye relief. The M5 8x42 remains one of the lightest 42mm binoculars in its class, barely tipping the scales at 22.2 ounces. Monarch M5 binoculars feature ED glass objectives, phase- and dielectric-coated prisms, and are waterproof to 3.3' for 10 minutes, and nitrogen purged.
